The main area of UNESCO Chair’s research activity is connected with development of new methods of control for heat and mass transfer processes aimed to a creation of energy effective technologies and devices.

There is a research laboratory on Thermomechanics of Magnetic Fluids at the UNESCO Chair. Its field of activity is investigation of new physical principles and mechanisms of control for heat and mass transfer processes by means magnetic fields and “smart” technological material – magnetic fluid.
The important scientific direction of the UNESCO Chair is connected with a development of fundamentals and technologies for effective use of biomass energy.

Teachers, post graduate and under graduate students are involved into the research process.
